Dr CKB Nair had served in Indian Air Force as a Russian Interpreter before joining Indian Ordnance Factories Service. In 2013 he retired as Additional General Manager, Ordnance Factory Tiruchirappalli and joined as Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Bangalore. Since 2019 he is full time director of Bravee Multiskilling Academy.

He has M Tech, Ph D degree in Mechanical Engineering and he was post-doctoral researcher at Industrial and Management Systems Engineering Department, College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, West Virginia University, USA. He had guided M Tech and Ph D students. He had completed two years whole time interpretership diploma in Russian Language from School of Foreign Languages New Delhi. He has M Phil degree in Continuing Education and had carried out extensive research in continuing education focusing the problems of continuing professional education in industries. He is author of the book “Multiskilling for enhancing employability and entrepreneurship”.

He is Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), Life Member of Computer Society of India, Fellow of Indian Institution of Production Engineers, Fellow of Indian Institution of Technical Arbitrators and Member of Indian Society of Technical Education. He was actively involved in the activities of Professional societies and had published research papers and delivered lectures during conferences and seminar. He has experience in the functions of Technology transfer projects, Operations Managements, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Safety Engineering and Human Resources Management. He is certified lead auditor ISO 9001 and 14001 with six sigma green belt. He had presented papers in international conferences in China and USA and completed expert training in Russia. He had travelled to Singapore, China, UAE, Oman, Qatar, South Korea, UK, France and Switzerland in connection with continuing education research.
